Endeavor IT - Technology Solutions Installer - NMS

General Summary:

Entry Level Technology Solutions - Installer (Low Voltage Cabling Installer) works with various communications at the point where the service provider ends. Technology Solutions - Installers are responsible for (but not limited to) the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of communications systems and associated hardware on customer location. Duties also may include testing and troubleshooting connections, upgrading current products, providing customer support, and performing warranty work.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Installation of various projects related to Telephone, Cabling and Networking on customer sites.
  • Execution of the Sales order.
  • Respect of customer completion request and quality needs.
  • Responsible for a safe work environment for our customers and employees.
  • Ensure that customer service calls and sales orders are completed to the satisfaction of the customer within the allotted service times; take corrective actions to see the ticket/ work order to completion.
  • Follow all internal policies and procedures as well as customer-defined policies and procedures.
  • A flexible schedule is required including starting early, staying late, and weekend work as required by the project.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· General exposure and understanding of communications technology

· Experience with installing low-voltage cabling and termination

· Preferred knowledge of networking concepts

· Preferred knowledge in installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of equipment

· Ability to use mechanical and electric power tools

· Be analytical in thinking and problem solving while paying attention to detail

· Ability to communicate with co-workers and business contacts in a professional and courteous manner

· Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions using information at hand

· Excellent communication

Education and Experience:

  • HS Diploma/GED required.
  • 1+ years’ experience with communications systems installation preferred.
  • Industry certifications preferred, but not required (BICSI, Fiber Optics, etc.)

Compensation:

Hourly: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour

Travel Required: Monday - Friday with overnight stays, qualifies for per diem.

This position is for placement in North Mississippi.
