General Summary:
The MSP Sales Account Executive role is an ambitious and results-driven position. This is a 100% hunter role focused exclusively on new business acquisition. The successful candidate will generate their own leads through various methods, including networking, referrals, cold-calling, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, industry events, and will occasionally receive cold leads from marketing. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment, is motivated by uncapped earning potential, and is excited to play a key role in our growth.
Essential Job Functions:
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Independently source and qualify new business leads through outbound efforts (cold-calling, networking, referrals, industry events, etc.) with minimal lead support from marketing. Leverage LinkedIn Sales Navigator to enhance prospecting efforts and broaden reach to targeted clients.
Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute a strategic plan to target and win new clients within assigned territories or verticals.
Pipeline Management: Build, manage, and close a robust pipeline of opportunities. Accurately forecast sales activity and revenue targets.
Consultative Selling: Understand prospects' pain points, present tailored MSP solutions, and establish value based on customer needs.
Presentation and Proposal Development: Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that address client needs and showcase the benefits of our services.
Contract Negotiation and Closing: Skillfully negotiate terms and close new business deals.
Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to effectively position our services.
Reporting and CRM: Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline status in the CRM system. Provide regular updates to leadership on progress toward sales targets.
