General Summary:
TheThe MSP Engineer II delivers advanced technical support and system administration services to clients in a managed services environment. This role serves as an escalation point for support engineers, ensuring client systems remain secure, reliable, and aligned with best practices. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a customer-focused approach in a fast-paced MSP environment.
Essential Job Functions:
· Configure, monitor, and maintain client systems including servers, storage, networks, firewalls, and cloud environments.
· Manage Microsoft 365 and Azure environments (user administration, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, security policies).
· Implement and support backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity solutions.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, and virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V, Scale Computing and others).
· Perform system upgrades, patch management, and proactive monitoring through RMM tools.
· Collaborate with other engineers to provide mentorship, knowledge sharing, and escalation support.
· Participate in client onboarding, technology refreshes, and project deployments.
· Document technical procedures, solutions, and client environment details in the PSA system.
· Provide on-site support when required and participate in the scheduled on-call rotation.
